He was in politics for like 30 years and was one of our most popular Lt. Govs and Governors. In fact, it was Miller who first championed the idea of removing the dixie cross from the state flag.

Mark Taylor and Cathy Cox (both Dem candidates for governor) have both have had strong ties to Miller.

Even McKinney supported his gubernatorial runs in 1990 and 1994. If I refused to vote for candidates who had ties to Miller, I could not vote for any Democrat in GA.

I liked Majette, and I don't see any need to apologize for that. She's running for school-superindendent this year against the fundy incumbent, and I'll gladly vote for her.
