Blind Support For bushboy: This One's Hilarious.
Edited on Wed Apr-05-06 08:58 AM by cali
On the wingnut blog I frequent and post at, one of the other liberals asked one of the people running the blog what would turn him against bush. He asked, facetiously, if raping a nun on live tv would do it. Here's the response:

"What would it take? Bush will never do anything wrong, so the question has no merit. It’s like asking someone if they’d still love Jesus if Jesus killed a kitty-cat. Jesus would never do such a thing, because Jesus is God and God is love. Similarly, Bush would never do something awful without a darn good reason. Since Bush always acts in the best interests of God and America, for Bush to do something awful without justification would be as out of character as it was unlikely as it would be out of character. In other words, I seriously doubt that Bush would ever rape a nun, but if he did, he’d better have a darn good reason for it. If he didn’t, I’d take issue with him."

Does that answer your question?"

I'm sure there are wingnuts who would sit there nodding at the television screen. Ugh. You wonder how these people can live with themselves.

24. it IS a cult & these fundies DO believe * is a messenger of God, as does *
That's why he "knows" he's winning the war on terra (with no evidence this is true) and he can look into Putin's eyes and "know" he's an honest, upstanding man whose word can be trusted.

Last night I saw Hardball with Susan Molinari (RWnut) speaking about Delay, who she kept defending. Finally, Tweety played a little Hardball and asked how she knew Delay was innocent of the charges against him, and how she knew Delay was truthful when he stated he didn't know about the illegal activities going on in his office that his buds have pled guilty to. Molinari said, "I know because I know Tom Delay." Delay is another "messiah" to these RW cultists.

There have been some threads on this in the past about * and his belief that he's a messenger of God. :puke:

And exterminate them. As long as he had "a darn good reason."

And it is telling how he uses Jesus as an example. "Similarly." That's borderline blasphemy.

Edited on Wed Apr-05-06 09:15 AM by merbex
because he was gay and he was tired of fighting his attraction to men

would THAT be enough to kill his support for B*?

Because I truly think the only thing that gets these folks upset is sex

not an illiegal war
not an out of control budget
not shredding of basic Constitutional rights
not a dirty environment
not a shrinking middle class
not outsourcing

the one thing that pushes their buttons is sex

31. Here's his answer
“goopy, would you still support el bushbo if he announced that he was gay and was leaving Laura for a happy life with ken mehlman?”

No. There can be no good reason for that.

“He is a president and a man, and is not infalliable. To parallel any common man with our Lord and Savior is blasphemous. I think that overall, Bush is a good man, but no politician, no matter how good, deserves the same kind of undying faith that one would put in God or in Christ.”

You misunderstand me, Lysistrata. I’m not saying Bush is Jesus, I’m just saying that so far he’s shown himself to be a man of truth and a man who follows Jesus. Anyone who’s read the Bible knows that even the best rulers (David and Solomon, for example) are fallible and make mistakes. Bush raping a nun would probably be a mistake, but if it actually happened outside of a moonbat’s fantasy, I think it would only happen for a good reason. That’s all I’m trying to say. Why is that so controversial? I’m not the one who envisions this garbage, and my only mistake is stooping to the moonbats’ level to try and have a discussion with them they could possibly understand. I apologize if my remarks have been misunderstood or taken out of context.

45. Rev. Jim Jones
in the 1980's I believe it was, took a thousand of his evangelical nutsoid followers down to a jungle in Guyana to start their version of Eden.

Reports started coming out of nefarious things, like child rape and not allowing members to leave. Congresscritters go down to investigate and he feeds about a thousand of his followers koolaid laced with cyanide and there is this mass suicide, although some who won't drink it are shot.

I was sitting in a car with the craziest guy in my fraternity, a close match to the John Belushi "Bluto" character in Animal House. I said to him, "I have the capability of seeing things as they really are..."

"Yeah. Me too!" he interrupted. And that was a great revelation in my life. Everything is filtered, and everone thinks they are not. It's the nature of humanity.

Your wingnut, if he is truly intelligent, should have learned that lesson.

Beating on your girlfrind's children is seen by some as heroic?

While one person might see lieing us into a war and getting thousands of people killed needlessly to pad their coffers as dastardly, another would see this as heroic?
