1. Didn't they get some laws passed about that? Shouldn't they be

facing charges now?

The last time i saw that was in Washington DC and someone mentioned it was against the local law to deface a flag. I sent a E0mail to the DC tip line but nothing was done of course.

4. At first quick glance those things on the flag look like...

bullet holes. No wonder the right-wingnuts think it's okay to deface the flag that way.

5. You would think that in a group that claims to be so patriotic,

there would be a least one member who knew the Flag Rules.

How is the flag defaced? It looks like a patchwork quilt in the form of a flag, a frequently used design.
