Poll question: WalMart attempts to improve image - are you buying it?
There have been several initiatives by WalMart to improve it's tarnished image in recent weeks - will this change your view of this company?

3. It is good
It shows how we, when we unite, can make the biggest corporation of all begin too change.

They heard us, loud and clear. It works, being united and all that. It works.

2. When does a capitalist not exploit? I say when he stops exploiting, then
he is no longer a capitalist. There's a big difference between sharing the profits of an enterprise with one's workers in an equitable fashion and keeping the bulk of the profits for oneself and giving the crumbs to the workers even though they may put in more hours and effort than the owner.

6. the last straw for me was during the run-up to.....
the 2000 north carolina senate campaign when sprawl-mart ran a full page ad (free publicity) in their company newsletter pretty much endorsing liddy dole for jesse helm's seat, while completely ignoring erskine bowles and those of us who supported him. and everything i've learned about walmart since then has just solidified my position. i will never EVER spend another dime there.

7. I have never stepped foot in a Wal-Mart and never will
for the main fact that it is killing america. Screw wally world, let them move to china and live like the people they take advantage of. Any american that shops at wal mart deserves to lose their job. Hungry? Out of work? Well keep spending at wal mart and you too will be pushing a shopping cart as you go to your new home in american cities sewer system.

8. I'm with you, Wal-mart will not get my money!
And why do corporations in america think that changing their image is the answer to everything? It's not their image i object to. But image is everything in this country, and substance means nothing.
