Where are all the Bush approval ratings? I've been watching to see if...
...he's still dropping, but nada anywhere on any new polls. What gives? Is he down to 20% and Rove has put a moratorium on publication? Anyone seen any new Bush Approval polls?

1. It seems to me that in periods where Bush's ratings are falling,
there are fewer published polls. Is that my imagination or it it true?

2. I believe there are new poll numbers out there ...
... it's just that the MSM can't fit them on their bottom-screen crawl, to whit:

"According to a recent survey, Bush's approval rating now stands at .0000000000000000000000000000000000000000001%"

10. No, their graphics aren't as vivid, but they really have a great
variety of polling subjects from many different sources.

11. What I don't understand is how...
...Bush could hit 90% on any poll, 9-11 notwithstanding. 90% implies a portion here (albeit small) must have, for a moment, approved of GWB's performance. It was so transparantly thin then that I find it hard to believe any avid reader of these forums, even then, could sip the koolaid.

15. So many of us were in total shock right after 9/11 and we were
willing to support Bush if he was really going to go after the people who had attacked us. I don't know that it was sipping the koolaid as much as it was showing a national solidarity in the face of a national disaster. I remember feeling really depressed for weeks after 9/11 and know that a lot of other people felt the same. We really wanted Bush to be a leader then, but he was a disappointment.

His poll numbers have gone down steadily since then as more and more people have figured out just how badly he has done his job.

7. usually polls are taken monthly and we had a splat of polls
2-3 weeks ago, so probably in the next couple of weeks we'll get more.

8. Shhhh...
What are you trying to do, wake up the populace or something?

You'll see reports if/when his approval ratings improve again, and not a moment sooner.

Now, back to Couric-gate.
