Madison, WI votes 68%-32% to bring the troops home NOW
In all 32 Wisconsin communities had a referendum to bring the troops home yesterday in our spring elections. 24 voted "Yes" and only 8 voted "No". The biggest community was Madison--which voted 24,344 to bring the troops home now to 11,252 opposing. But it was great to see other communities, less identified with the anti-war movement also voting with us. For instance, Baraboo voted 1,740-1,592 to bring the troops home. La Crosse 3,614-2,983 to bring the troops home. Ladysmith 544-479 to bring the troops home. Shorewood 1,664-723 to bring the troops home. Evansville (a very conservative town where some close friends live) voted 444-425 to bring the troops home. Amery 223-196 to bring the troops home.

Thank you Wisconsin for taking a stand.
