No Guy James Show today due to technical difficulties!

Hey, friends!

Just got off the phone with Guy, and there is no show today because somehow audio is not getting through his board to the streaming computer!

(Or it is not being received by the Audigy card in that machine.)

We were unable to solve the problem over the phone and he has to call in his technician, which cannot happen until later today.

But we will be back tomorrow with another great show!

who is running for U.S Congress....She was going to call in for the John Dean question-call segment...! We can hang onto out thoughts.....this administrations crimes seem to run into infinity.

I have been downloading the show from WRS archives and listening at night, but today I have (had) a chance to listen live. :(

I wish there was some way I could have diagnosed and fixed the problem via the telephone. I feel like I must have missed something.

And there are always glitches. And he isn't a computer or audio expert, and doesn't have one there full time.

Eventually it will all be running smoothly!

Any of you nice folks live in his area? If so, volunteering to help him out from time-to-time would be a great gesture!

I am SO upset that I cannot figure out what is wrong!

Audio comes to the streaming computer. We know this because it comes out the speakers on that computer.

The streaming application, M3W, runs. thinks it is connected to the sound card, but does not show any level in its volume indicator, nor is it sending out anything but pure silence.

I am SO STUMPED.

14. No. He didn't do the show because of the issue.

And unless the stream goes I have nothing to archive anyway.

We got a windows computer expert on the line with him now, though, so all should be solved shortly and there should be a show tomorrow.

If I lived in Ft, Meyers, I might be able to, but I am in Chicago. He has to have a local expert, and I can't argue with that at all!!!

19. Well, I'd be willing to make the trip from Wisconsin to Florida in the

winter if someone would help pay my expenses. I'm sure it would be well worth it to Guy and his listeners.
