Giuliani Predicts Another Terror Attack!!!!
Edited on Wed Apr-05-06 02:50 PM by AGENDA21
Former New York City Mayor Rudolph Giuliani predicted Tuesday that 9/11 would not go down in history as the only large-scale terrorist attack on U.S. soil.

"It's better to assume we will be attacked again and go from there," Giuliani said during a speech at the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Giuliani, who was New York's mayor when when terrorists struck on Sept. 11, 2001, was the keynote speaker at the 2nd Annual Mayor Richard J. Daley Urban Forum, reported the Chicago Tribune.

"Sept. 11 removed any last vestige of thinking that we're isolated," Giuliani said. "We have the same strengths and vulnerabilities as just about every place else."

According to the Tribune, Giuliani urged local, state and federal officials to make "relentless preparation" for another attack, particularly a strike that can't be anticipated.

And I love the bit about preparing for attacks that can't be anticipated (meaning: prepare for what can't be prepared for)?!

23. *lol* ~ I hope he runs for president. I remember watching how they
turned him into a hero after 9/11 and I knew the country was in real trouble. If you watched his testimony at the 9/11 hearings and the reaction of the families, as he used up his time patting himself on the back, it was clear that at least those most affected by his lack of concern over the threats to NY and the WTC in particular, were not impressed.

The country doesn't know much about him. A presidential run would reveal a lot ~ rightwingers in particular think he's a great hero ~

How many years in a row did he do his drag queen routine?

8. Yes, he totally failed to protect NYC and gets called a hero ~ he was on
the scene of the London bombing also ~ maybe this time, he'll give us a heads up?? That man needs to be seriously questioned under oath about 9/11. The families certainly wanted to hear from him.

He is now involved in 'security' and his so-called security firm was in London during the attack. No one knows how it is that he seems to be on the scene of so many terrorist attacks. It's good business, terror ~ he and his friend Kerik have certainly profited from it.

22. What bugs ME...
...is the freeper and bushbot attitude of "I can't wait till the next terrorist attack so Bush will be justified and can tell all those LIEbruls "I told you so!" :grr:

This, of course, is assuming that 'the next terrorist attack' will take place far away from wherever they happen to be, involve no one in their immediate family, and not impact their jobs or income in any way.
I wonder if they'd be so eager if they were informed that:
"There's good news, and bad news. You get your wish. The good news is that a terrorist attack is gonna happen in about ten minutes, and your president will be vindicated. Bad news is you won't be around to enjoy it, because your area is ground zero, and YOU're gonna be 'collateral damage.'
:nuke:
