4. I don't anymore
but I do still watch the MSM.

I watch The Situation Room in that time slot. I like Jack Cafferty's segments and Blitzer usually has a decent Democrat mouthpiece on. Not to mention the fact that the Republicans have been screwing up so bad, it is comical to watch their apologists try to spin something good out of it.

Lol, there is your answer from me. I watched once to see the duel thing with Zell repeat but that was all. Never could stand him. Even if he was a liberal and speaking what I want to hear I would not watch. I just don't like his manner.

Sometimes he's a really winger, sometimes he really gives it to the right wing. Not to offend Wheaties, but he's a real flake.

apart from the usual bush licking that he loves to engage in publically, (seems like a violation of decency and obsenity laws to me) I think of him as the Snake Oil salesman for Elmer Gantry. Nothing makes more me sickened than to see the level of pandering to the phony "religious leaders" and their memes/talking points than what Tweety engages in.

It is a waste of time to sit and watch tTweety and guests yell at each other. It is not news, it is not discussion. It is a bizarre form of entertainment which I find revolting.

any of the shows with the pundits spouting off. I don't care what their opinion is. I just want to hear the news and that doesn't seem possible anymore. I read the newspaper, magazines or most important I get my news on DU. I find the pundits obnoxious and many times uninformed. I like to think for myself.

I admit to going back for a few seconds at a time, but nothing with any regularity. I think any search for truth or fairness on tweety's show is a fool's errand.
I think it insane for Dems to watch his show. He isn't going to change. In that incestuous world that marks the true beltway insider, he thinks he is doing God's own work.
If enough people stop watching his show, maybe, just maybe, MS-RNC will get the idea that he is not worth what he is being paid and cancel his ass. Oh, joyous day!

25. I don't. Why would anyone?
It's ABCNNBCBS propaganda bullsh*t.

Television "news" isn't information. It's a package that is designed to convince businesses to give their money to broadcasters. It's not even selling soap, per se. It's selling that idea that you can sell soap. Television is about advertising, not information.

If it weren't for Amy Goodman, it would be completely without news.

Mostly because they go out of their way to create "controversy" by having folks on to spout whatever their belief is. Now if they would stop with the guest and do some decent in depth, factual reporting of an issue ? I might considering blowing an hour or so watching again.

I don't give a damn about whether or not Tweety is biased. I just can't watch an "interview" where the host steps on the guests answers.

I can't listen to Randi Rhodes for the same reason.

Tweety, Rhodes, Franken... and a bunch of others, like everyone on Fox-- just lousy at talking to people on air. Might as well watch the McLaughlin Gong Show.

It is NOT the interviewer's job to interject him or herself into the interview or debate the subject.

Loud, rude, and impressed with the sound of his own voice. A "pundit" who likes to share his opinion rather than a journalist who knows how to seek information and analyze it. Goes for the inflammatory sound bite and cannot hide his biases.

As the comment above suggests, I have seen his show. As it also suggests, I couldn't bear it after the first few times.
