Those lucky women get to meet the Chimperor at the White House tomorrow! (This was just announced on local DC TV (WUSA-9)).

If that won't discourage other women from playing their best basketball next season, I don't know what will.

games of the entire season. I was glued to my seat and I had to pee real bad. What a great game!

One of my daughters commutes to University of Maryland, and the other went there for a year. They're not basketball fans, but the Lady Terps' victory is still sweet for all of us.

Incidentally the resident students at U. of Maryland College Park responded to this wonderful victory in their traditional manner - by setting fire to stuff in the streets.
