Bush is allowed to kill people but McKinney must respect the law..
Bush can Launch an unprovoked imperialist war of aggression in Iraq without legal consequences (I'm thinking of Nuremburg)

But McKinney must obey the law..

Yeah, maybe she was overzealous in her response to the local cops but the hypocrisy is bizarre

1. Apparently, they haven't gotten the memo.
We have no "laws" in this country anymore. There is no "rule of law"...

I agree with you 100%

4. Remember, he's a white male Republican...
...and she's a black female Democrat. You're right, the hypocrisy is astounding. The cards are automatically stacked against her and the double standards abound.

5. Yes, McKinney must respect the law
the violations by other people do not give the rest of us a blank check to disrespect police and thumb our noses at security procedures.

This line of reasoning is baseless.

6. You'll notice I didn't say it was OKAY.
I'm merely pointing out the GULF of perceived fairness.

You're right the two incidents don't even compare. Bush's crimes are far worse with NO ACCOUNTABILITY.
