The chief judge in Saddam Hussein's trial ordered one of the defence lawyers to be taken out of court following acrimonious outbursts, an AFP correspondent reported. Judge Rauf Abdel Rahman expelled the lawyer Bouchra Khalil after she started showing pictures of Iraqis being tortured by United States forces in Iraq.
