Will this girl be the 1st woman president?
She certainly has the brains for the job, and if she has taken to heart as much as she's memorized, she might just be someone I could vote for. In another 30 years or so anyway.

3. God I hope not!
There's no reason why the 1st shouldn't be a lot sooner than that.

5. Once she can prove that she understands what she's quoting, then sure.
Until then, while impressive as hell, it's merely mimicry.

She's sharp, she's personable, she's cute as hell, but does she actually understand what the words mean?

9. She sure beats the hell out of what we're stuck with right now!
At least she can recite the Declaration of Independence -- and it's clear that all BushCo players could give a damn about American history. :grr:

14. My Little guy just turned 6 last week!
Your son is a handsome young man. How old is he?

If so, my son can wait to be the second African American President!

I'm going to be 51 in June. I have long felt that I will live to see a Woman president, but not a Black one. I do believe that our kids will, though!

15. Thank you!
He was 7 the end of October - but he looks much older. That pic was from last year. He's already in size 10! and pushing the next size. My older son - 12.5 - only outweighs him by about 5 lbs (he's VERY skinny). Pretty soon the handmedowns are going to start going the other way. :)

Your son's a cutie, too, btw. I forgot to say that before. :( Sorry. I was just so anxious to show off my kid! hahaha

I tell my son when he's really getting on my last nerve, "You better be glad you're cute!" Of course, he KNOWS he's cute. LOL....... And I think he's pretty smart, too.

Women, minorities - I think this country is WAY past due for something other than a white male, ya know?!?

P.S. Don't tell anyone, but I'm going to be 50 tomorrow! :banghead: How did this happen?

16. Several Things, mzteris!
1 Happy Birthday! You know that 50 is the new 30!

2 My son is just about to grow out of his size 8s! Holy Mackrel!

3 I tell my son to stop growing so fast, because these kid memories will keep him alive when he's a teenager. He doesn't listen! :eyes:

4 I TOTALLY agree about women and minorities. We are never moving away fom Maine, but when we visit Philadelphia I am reminded of how much I miss being around Black people. I say that out of my love and respect for African Americans! ChicaAzul and I LOVE our son's Godmother's visits every summer! :bounce:

5 Good night. I'm taking my hiney to bed. That's another consequence of being 50. :boring: There are others, but I don't remember them right now! :dunce: :hi:

21. thanks!
I still just shake my head - how did I get to be so old?

I tell my son I'm going to put a pile of bricks on his head to stop him from growing.

I also have a daughter who turned 25 in January. Now THAT makes me feel O-L-D!

23. Do you give your age like I do?!
I am around 24 this year, twice! Age really is mainly a state of mind. It is nice though, when someone calls my 5 yo grandson my son. Makes my day! Are they missing the silver streaks and wrinkles showing now?!

I hope you are having a beautiful day! Are you getting a nice dinner? I had Red Lobster, (I know), stuffed tilapia last month, mmmmm!

Peace and hope,
V

My 12 y/o, with her good pal, the day she "won" the Tom DeLay Good Citizenship Award. Won't THAT look good on her CV-- Tommy Boy endorsing a Leftist Know-it-all Woman?
