Attention folks who support Kerry's Iraq plan AND have a Huffpo account

Even if you don't particularly support the man, could you voice support for the plan.

2. We've been trying -- 8.5 hours and counting

I and Luftmensch put comments in just after noon, Eastern time. We're wai-ai-aiting.

Apparently approval by the mods runs just a tad slower if you actually like Kerry.

slower may be an understatement. What I don't understand is what the moderator censors - there is probably nothing bad you could say about Kerry that they wouldn't allow. Arianna did start as a right wing Ann Coulter type - at times I question her "conversion".

I gave up on them a long time ago. They prefer crap, I can't figure out why.

4. Did you have a real account or were you posting under anonymous

I got a couple in under anonymous and then they said they wouldn't accept posts from those not logged in anymore.

But even when I did, they were WAY down on the list.

Right now, a good many of the posters are saying stuff like "go away" and "why does Huffington let him post here" and "Why don't you come out with a plan to count the votes you Skull and Bones coward."

Sometimes I think some folks have a list of ready responses to Kerry in their notepad, and when his name comes up, they just cut and paste. It all looks so ... rote somehow. Same comments, worded in the same way, popping out as if the poster didn't even think about it first.

I have freeper friends like that. One in particular will tell me how he doesn't use this, or how he feels so and so betrayed him, etc, based on one thing that happened. It's like he's formed a series of conclusions about a variety of things, sometimes not based on a whole lot of info either, and that conclusion is where he stopped thinking.

Stuff never gets posted. And yes, I think alot of it is people who have trash ready to go, and I suspect they aren't all from the left either. Sad they let themselves be used like that.

The last time I thought they'd thrown my comments away without posting, they appeared about a day later. My comment that's been waiting is on the Gary Hart piece. I'm writing one on the JK piece now.

9. I will, but I reckoned that they'd be on it already

and I thought some non-Kerry fans would be better for promoting the plan itself, sort of like "Hey, I'm no big Kerry fan either, but we need a plan to get out of Iraq, and this is a good one. Who cares who came up eith it."

But then again, I suppose it's pretty useless. These guys look like they're more hardcore than Kos.
