She got a bit upset. Then I said to her, "This was all a long time ago, Mother." I don't know if that settled her, but we didn't discuss it from then on!

I think it helps us feel connected toknow we had a common ancestor, be she black or whatever. Who cares? I still chuckle, thinking about it.

liberal.. There are 4 other members in my immediate family, and the are all thin lipped pukes.. I'm the only one with full lips, and I'm the only lefty..

28. Think of it this way:

(1) It's a given that WASPs tend to have thinner lips to begin with.

(2) Liberals laugh and smile more because we're more pleasant, relaxed people. We're also generally more loving and thus kiss more, which can increase blood flow to the lips and make them appear fuller.

(3) The reTHUGs are grim, scolding, and angry much of the time, so they press their lips together more, thus making them permanently thinner, flatter, or even nonexistant.

Does that take care of the variability?

29. Could be.. I don't know.. I have to tell you though, I'd love to see

brain scans of liberals vs. pukes.. Growing up I was so different from the rest of my family, and for that matter we're still words apart.. I swear it's like the brain functions on completely different levels.. I love music, art, and learning for the sake of learning.. It was like I was an alien.. I truly thought I was switched at birth.. I had a really rough life until I finally ran away with my graduation money.. (The first money my father didn't control for me..) The worst part was I truly believed I was a freak of nature.. Everyone I knew was a conservative, I grew up in an ultra conservative community, and I was the ONLY one that was different.. I didn't realize how normal I was until I ran to the city..
