If it makes anyone happy, W was fairly savaged for his CT appearance Wed.
The front page of the Hartford Courant was pretty funny...a HUGH color photo of W appeared in a box (all above the fold) beneath the headline "Suicide For Hire Theory Probed." Of course, it had nothing to do with W's appearance, although one could reasonably argue that every time he makes a public appearance lately, it is a form of suicide. But what brief text there was all appeared beneath the fold, "The Mood In Bridgeport Was A Bit Reserved."

Neither Chris Shays or Governor Jodi Rell would appear on stage with him. The article called his health care dog and pony show "an infomercial" and highlighted the fake panel and fake questions. Bush whisked in and out of CT faster than you can say "loser."

17. Is that a Hand's Maid in the photo with the baby?
Sure looks like it could be. That baby isn't a new born, so it wouldn't be a nurse in the delivery room...

Normally he's all over * like he's Joe's prom date. And this kind of regressive worthless idea is just up Joe's street. So where was he?

21. I like it that the accumulative impression many former Bush voters are
getting now is that he really IS an idiot.

That he really DOESN'T know what he's talking about.

And that they probably ought to have gone with the other guy.
