GONE!

Sorry--I don't care what you think, you can't rain on my parade considering the political demise of this horrible excuse for DNA--he's DEFEATED (I prefer to use that word instead of resigned--if he'd have had a chance to retain, he would have stayed).

While we beat each other up over whatever, let's take a moment to celebrate the fall of a vile, corrupt, and nasty politico.

:toast:

Now, please, go back to your backbiting...

1. "Who's Tom Delay?"
I mentioned to an independent friend of mine yesterday how happy I was about his resignation. The above question was her response. She friggin' works in Houston and lives in Austin.

ARRRGGGGHHHHH!

But yes, I am THRILLED! It's so great to see the ol' adage "what goes around comes around" come true.:bounce:

2. I share your joy!
What ever may or may not transpire politically because of Delay's resignation (e.g. Whether a repub or Democrat is elected to take his place), we are much better off with this man's hands OFF the levers of power in Washington D.C..

and that is a GOOD THING!

3. Here Here!!
This guy is/was the anti christ IMHO, and like many others i'm so glad to see him gone from politics.
But he want go far, he's moving to Virginia and that means lobbying. So his vile approach to politics and policy, will be around for many years to come. We will all need to stay vigilant, in the coming years to prevent the anti christ from doing more harm to our country.
