I think that we should go to the store and buy blank tapes or DVDs, perhaps a bit of liquid refreshments, good food, and get ready for a fun night. I think that both Hardball and Countdown are going to have some interesting reports from David Schuster.

It might be fun for people to prepare by reading Fitzgerald's new motion (Document #80), which goes beyond naming Cheney and Bush. On page 27, it reads:

"During this time, while the President was unaware of the role that the Vice President's Chief of Staff and National Security Adviser had in fact played in disclosing Ms. Wilson's CIA employment, defendant implored White House officials to have a public statement issued exonerating him. When his initial efforts met with no success, defendant sought the assistance of the Vice President in having his name cleared. ....." It goes on to quote a handwritten statement Libby wanted press secretary McClellan to read. Hilarious!

Also, if anyone has a link, two other articles I think people should read today include William Rivers Pitt's 12-30-03 "Bush's Worse Enemy," and the infamous DU essay, "The Waterman Paper."

6. H20 Man, the irony is just breathtaking! In 1974,

the Hearings on watergate got really hot. Especially during the long hot DC summer. Are we going to see republicans forced to investigate the president because of the upcoming mid-terms and the preservation of their own party first?

That Woodward is involved in both scenarios is also juicy. The media is complicit and that point needs to be made as well that the media abandoned their skepticism and journalistic integrity in the run up to war. And that's just the plethora of ones we know about. The ironies keep coming!

Oh please, let this be the beginning of the end for bushco! especially after he was all over the TV espousing the War today and now this...
