I found this video disturbing...
British Troops Beating Teens.

Some questions and observations:
1) Why were these three teens singled out? Why should we believe they were even part of the mob attacks? Could they have been simply bystanders?
2) Why were they taken to a secluded area? Did the troops want "no witnesses?"
3) These three teens are beaten by at least 8 or 9 troops
4) The comments of the videographer are sickening (at one point he sounds like Bush imitating Karla Faye Tucker)
5) In an effort to bring "democracy" to Iraq, are "revenge" or "punishment" beatings necessary? What ever happened to "due process," a crucial part of democracy?

3. This is not about genocide...

These soldiers are under a lot of stress and the beatings are the outlet. I am not defending this type of behaviour at all, and I thinks it's disgusting! This has been seen after police chases in which the stress and adrenalin set the catalyst for extreme aggression. Police now have special training to counter these affects to keep the police officer in control. These soldiers lost control and used those teens as a physical outlet to release their anger. The ones doing the beating should be held accountable, the ones who walked by and did nothing should be as well, and the one video taping the incident needs some serious psychotherapy!

The genocide part of this war stems from Bush saying God told him to go to war against these people. Bush, elected by the Christian Right, had this agenda set from the moment he stepped into the White House.
