Until the average american stands up...nothing will change....(long rant)
I needed to release some thoughts and feelings...(I am screaming out my window right now...I have had enough and I am not going to take it any longer!!!)

Until you get off your collective a$$es...nothing will change.....This immigration compromise puts the nail on the USA coffin...When Harry Reid says that they found a solution that the american people want???? Give me a break....this is what CORPORATE AMERICANS want for sure!!! If the Democrats and the Repubs really listened to the true hard working people and not the corporate wealthy people, who make their money off the backs of all the hard workers, then we would not be having this discussion... and this goes for all the legislation going on....The obscene profits that are being made to send lobbyists to washington to gather more support for them to make more obscene profits is outrageous....in every sector of your/our daily lives...

Lets all admit it....we are slaves....this is the new world alright...medicated to keep us all happy happy and so we don't stir up trouble...and if you do start to stir it up...guess where you will end up..??? In a Halliburton built camp of their choice....maybe not today..but tomorrow isn't that far off....and the rate in which this administration is sending more to the poor house...you will continue to follow whatever they want to do because no one could believe that what is going on is possible....FEAR/FEAR/TERROR/TERROR..... there is no more FREE PRESS...they are all owned by a select few who are able to keep things out of the public eye..

All is not lost tho....not completely yet....there is still hope....Hope that people will wake up and really look into why and how you got to this point..that is if they really want to know...I mean people say they want change....but we are creatures of habit...and the inconvenience that standing up for your basic rights brings about stops many from continuing on that path...."but I have bills to pay...I want to eat....I don't want to go to jail".. I mean these things are important to the average person right???? that is why there has been no general strike...no gathering of every hard working american because they are threatened by the ones with the most..."do this and you loose your job"...."do that and you can kiss your job goodbye"...You can't even get off work to go vote..not that it matters anymore....nothing has been done to stop the thefts of elections...I mean come on...Yes some states are stopping with the electronic voting...but those Corps. that want them in will get what they want...CAUSE MONEY TALKS when it comes to washington and their policies!!

I have gone on too long...I'm off my soap box now....I just want some peace....I just want to see love among man/woman...no more judgments by others....no more money to enslave us....no more hate and fear!!! the whole damn world needs to rethink what LIFE is about....its not about having the most while others don't...its not about having power that you steal from others(some give their power away freely not realizing that they have??)...

Lazy is what we have all become....someone else has to fix it eh??? its someone else's problem not mine....until every soul starts to take responsibility for what is happening..it will stay the same....

1. Equal rights with unequal protection an unequal responsbility;
This is the great trick pulled on the American citizen by the American corporation. It is taking this country down. It is rogue capitalism and it is extremely dangerous.

11. I agree, too. We did it back in the 60's and 70's...but I guess
were all just a little to old and lazy to do it now.

5. What put the nail in the American coffin was the election of Bush. All...
else follows "as the night the day."

Bush's purpose is to do precisely what he is doing: restoring capitalism to what it was before the New Deal and the Soviet Revolution terrified it into semi-submission: the most murderously tyrannosauric economic system the rulers of the planet have ever devised. Viewed from this perspective -- from the perspective of class warfare in a time of worsening scarcity -- everything Bush does (even down to the tiniest detail) makes perfect sense.

But you're wrong about one thing: there is no reason for hope. None whatsoever: the cause is lost. The American people are too dumbed-down to understand what is happening to them, too brainwashed to acknowledge the alternatives -- and in any case too craven to resist.

History proves unequivocally that when a people are so oppressed, liberation -- if it comes at all (increasingly improbable in a world methodically reduced to theocracy) -- can only come from without.

6. I can not lose hope!!....I won't allow that power to be taken from me...
they can squash me out and put me down..but they will not have my power and energy!...They are trying and I will resist to the bitter end!!! I will send out my positive energy and power to combat their hate and fear!!....LOVE WILL ALWAYS WIN IN THE END.....LOVE IS THE ANSWER...PURE LOVE.UNIVERSAL LOVE OF ALL...

PEACE LOVE AND LIGHT TO ALL!!!

9. Strategically, the total loss of hope may be precisely what we need:
for then -- as in the time of Sartre and Camus -- the act of resistance is itself an act of liberation, and in the resultant paradox of purposelessness, the door might be opened to unlimited potential.

Thus (and given the unprecedented extent to which the American public has been brainwashed, ONLY thus) might the ultimate relevance of the now-tabooed principles of class-struggle, civil rights and economic democracy be at last again commonly recognized -- and thus might these principles then be forged into a new vehicle of liberation, perhaps even a new movement.

Possibly -- though certainly not probably.

The ugly truth is that -- as in ancient Rome -- the public has already proven beyond any scintilla of doubt it prefers bread and circuses to real freedom: in America's case, the bread and circuses of unlimited credit and missing blonde co-eds. And by the time the consequences of such preferences become undeniably obvious -- that is, when all America is as unemployed and disenfranchised as the people of post-Katrina New Orleans -- it will be far too late for any realistic prospect of change or reform.

Knowing history, I believe it is already too late: that just as the 2000 election of Bush sealed our doom (the culmination of a process that began on November 22, 1963 but dates to the thwarted fascist coup of 1934), so did the appointment of Alito drive the final nails into the coffin of American liberty. The American Experiment is over, dead, ended.

Thus -- for those of us who recognize what has happened and what we therefore risk -- has resistance already become the supreme act of personal liberation. And self-liberation is indeed all we can hope to achieve, for in the collective sense there are far too few of us to make any difference at all.

8. Well something needs to happen.......
and because its getting to that point...I feel those in power will CREATE another crisis to keep the people scared and in line....I wouldn't put anything past them...anything and everything will be on the table....when they see themselves losing all the power they took...it makes them even more crazy...crazy enough to kill!!!

13. I'm sorry did you say something? American Idol is on.
Now if you will excuse me I will go back into my non-voting slumber with 50% of the country. Ow and when they are ready, tell the other 50% to send over 90% of their number who do vote but only care about politics every 4 years to come on over, the lights on and I've got cold beer I bought with my tax cuts.
