FOX POLL: BUSH - 36% Approval
In addition, the new poll finds that the president's job approval rating has slipped a couple of points and currently matches an earlier low recorded back in November. Today, 36 percent of Americans say they approve of the job George W. Bush is doing as president and 53 percent disapprove.

2. Is this poll prior to today's Plame leak authorization announcement?
And since it's FOX, we should maybe knock off another 4 or 5 points anyway.

17. Wow -- 30 r below would really make things tense over at the
Bush White House, wouldn't it.

That Mars initiative might have to be put on hold ...

22. remember that farside comic strip? with the dryer and the dog, and
all the signs and arrows saying "Cat Fud?"
And the dog going, "oh please, oh please, oh please, oh please?"

24. I do remember it! O yes let it happen!
Bush is sinking sinking sinking, and the next couple months should see either a take-this-you-assholes assault on Iran or a further disintegration of Republican support in Congress.

And I don't think either outcome is especially good for Bush.

3. Keep in mind that the Fox polls are usually 5 pts higher than average
I figured this out - Fox rigs their polls so they're usually 5 points higher than average, CNN rigs their polls so they're 2 points higher, and MSNBC is usually 2 - 3 points higher than average.

4. He would have to eat a live baby on TV to go below 30%
Even then, the Bushbots would still find an excuse. He will never go below 30%, no matter what he or his administration does. They control too much of the media and more.

12. Huey Long. Inspiration for "All the King's Men" by Robert Penn Warren
What a character. Dangerous, bright, demagogic, passionate about government as a way to help people. A fascinating figure in American history; eventually assassinated. Thanks for reminding us of Another Time.

"Good Old Boys" album? Newman before he became a Disney franchise. Songs inspired by Huey Long.

25. Don't DO that to me. Mean and uncalled for.
And you loved every bit of it. That, to me, was sexy. Very. Not flagrantly, or obviously, but surely. Oh well, perhaps someday you will cook for me at your home in Connecticut. Yum.

10. The freeps aren't happy at all with the guest worker program...
...several people over there reacted with "B.O.H.I.C.A." posts ("Bend Over Here It Comes Again")...

Others said they were "sold down the river"...

So let's see what the NEXT Fox poll reveals.
