The Sad Truth: America Voted bushco OUT in 2004
Forget the sinking polls and the daily dose of devastating news for bushco. The real story is that
America was fed up with them back in 2004 and voted them OUT. The vote fraud in Ohio returned
them to office, as if another term would allow them to fix the mistakes of Term One. Even Tweety
admits that bush has been sinking in the polls "at a 45-degree angle" since 2004.

The REAL fix that this country needs is a voting system that can be trusted. Fix that and we fix everything else.

6. I'm not sure about that...
I think it's a possibility that the 2004 election might have been an inverse of the 2000 election where if there was a legitimate count, Bush would have won the popular vote, but lost the electoral college, as I am certain that Kerry won Ohio, possibly even Florida. You very well might be right about the popular vote. It seems a little hard to believe that they padded more than 2 million votes, but I certainly wouldn't put it past them. When will we live in a democracy again?

7. true but the neocons are staying awake at night
Because now there is a progressive trend in all 50 states, there's going to be 50
independent legislatures to deal with thanks to them and their culture of closed
circle government of support the corporations, by the corporations and of the corporations.

3. It'd be much
better if we could all vote from home via internet, you know... some people are just busy that day.

8. LOL. The vote thieves would absolute LOVE internet voting.
The loopholes for tampering would be endless. The Repulsivcans have advocated internet voting in fact--and they will probably continue to. That should be enough of a clue not to try it.

Also, anybody can vote early with their local elections offices by simply going in or writing and requesting a ballot. You don't have to be abseentee to vote early either. Check it out. Then on the day of the election you won't be inconvenienced.

4. Yes, there are days when I about throw in the towel thinking of the
2006 election....how can we win back seats in Congress when the GOP own the vote counting?

5. You are absolutely correct. I just wish I knew how or what we could
do to fix voting. We have a man in the White House who has not been elected--for two consecutive terms. Who'd have ever imagined? I just watched Greg Palast's documentatary on the Bush Family Fortune on cable Free Speech TV. Never has one family used the people's goverment and money for their own personal gain. It's beyond criminal. They should all be imprisoned--or worse.

9. Why am I skeptical the Dems will actually win back congress this Nov.?
For precisely the reason you indicate: a voting system that can be trusted....does not exist right now. Until it does, I will be skeptical. No matter what the polls say.

10. In Some States, They Can Turn a Landslide for US into a Landslide for THEM

The reform initiatives in Ohio were winning by 2-1 going into Election Day.
They "lost" by 2-1. Democracy is finished in Ohio.

We all know about Florida.

And now they're fixin' to do it in California.
How do we stop them?
