Between Kerry and Feingold.

Kerry supports censure hearing and agrees with Leahy, inclined to believe censure is appropriate.

there to say they NEED to hear more evidence and want to keep the investigation alive. That way the public has a greater chance to catch up to what is really happening.

They are holding hearings -

This is not an Alice in wonderland world, verdict first, trial later.

Carefully choosing words is important with the current media that will take anything and turn it on its head.

that Wolf goes to Kerrys office for a one-on-one interview.
Regardless of how he poses, Blitzer has been privately pro-Kerry.

49. This time Tweety was even worse
It was really clear that he thought he could push Kerry to go over the line on the Bus/Libby/Plame stuff. Must have forgot Kerry was a damn good prosecutor - and he was going to say "if it's true" on everything - except things 100% known. (Tweety also likes to hear himself talk.)

Kerry was serious, but he seemed to get a little tiny smile every now and then - I assume he can't help be happy that Bush is in trouble.

38. Never thought I'd say this
but compared to Blitzer, Tweety did an outstanding job. It's funny how he gets all deferential when interviewing JK. Leslie is an ass, drunk on the koolaid. How pathetic was his attempt at getting JK to comment on the quote about JK having had his chance, and that new blood was needed.

32. I have a question.....
Is Kerry's plan that the Iraqi Government have to put a Government together by May 15th....and if the don't......then we would leave,

But if they do, then we stay?

That's what I understood, watching Kerry's interview with Wolf Ticket.

42. So really apart from this May 15th deadline for the Iraqi Gov
to put together a unity government, or else.....

This plan is what the Democratic Plan was.....that 2006 was the year of transition....that we would need to start pulling out by the end of this year? Is that correct?

Because if so...I find this deadline totally reasonable. I always thought that our military presence should be used as leverage to get this government going. The Iraqi Government does not want us to leave just yet....so this would work, although it has to come from Bush....and it probably won't.

51. That seems to be Kerry's strategy
In the less formal interviews he has said he hopes (and he thinks) they will. At that point, the summit idea and the transition of the second part kicks in. I liked that in Blitzer's interview he said that an ultimatum from him won't work, but it will from the President.

Form a unity government by May 15 - if not, immediate withdrawal of forces

Withdrawal by end of 2006 regardless - excepting troops in IDF training efforts

41. Until the end of the year, as he said last year
If they want us to. If we stay, the plan includes not engaging in routine patrols and the kinds of things that make our troops targets. Since he called for a drawdown last year, I'm sure he would consider that part of any strategy for the remaining year, begin to draw down troops, turn over the country, and be out by the end of the year.
