Spin from Faux, here we go....
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,190843,00.html

<snip>
Nothing in the papers indicate Bush or Cheney told Libby to reveal the name of CIA analyst Valerie Plame, nor do they suggest that either the president or vice president did anything illegal. But the documents do hint at more problems for the administration since some may show a plan to punish one of its critics, Plame's husband, Amb. Joe Wilson

<snip>

I'm sick.

2. It demonstrates a conspiracy at the WH
The leaking of Plame's name was part of the plan to punish Joe Wilson.

That demonstrates a conspiracy.

Bush's goose is cooked.

4. Fine, but they show a 'plan' to punish a critic
Earth to Fox: That is a gross misuse of power.

5. No rationale can justify Bush's lying to public for 2 years about it
He can't say he was reasonable in doing it without acknowledging he lied repeatedly about the matter.

6. Its OK,
Fox is a marginal player in news, no matter what they say.

Think about it - B*sh policies are going down 2-1, Fox or no Fox -

His days are numbered. It is good that Fox is on the wrong side of history.

SO - keep it up Rupert - I think in about 7 more months your network goes down.

It all works out in the end - Karma.

Joe

9. That Was In Several Publications. But Fear Not. Illegality Is Not The
whole issue by a long shot. Perception is. And illegal or not, no spin can make them look good with this one. The POTUS has been directly implicated in the most unethical smearing of a critic, and has lied through his teeth time, and time and time again directly to the american people about it. There are so many sound bytes, so many quotes, so many instances of denial, that there is no way he gets out of this unscathed. There's no spin on this one. It is in DIRECT contradiction to so so many of his statements. Don't worry about the legality so much. The perception of complete betrayal is there for the taking, and we need to pound it home repeatedly. Most middle of the road americans are going to relate to and agree far more readily with the unethical side of this and the blatancy of his deceit and lies that are so in the forefront right now. We have that. No matter what. This is their worst nightmare IMHO.
