Ho report - Fox News with Britt Hume.
Edited on Thu Apr-06-06 05:38 PM by MazeRat7
I'm watching tonight so you don't have to:

Lead Story: Another McKinney alteration - use of private security on capitol grounds and apology.

Next up: Break-through in 11th hour compromise on immigration - most comprehensive in two decades.

Third: Documents released in the Libby case bring to light more pre-war intelligence the president has chosen to release.

(break)....

We are back.. the up shot... if the "Leaker in Chief" chooses to release information, it is automatically no longer classified. End of story.

Next: Sept 11 testimony from NY Mayor....

(break)....

Next up: Rumsfeld urges Iraq leaders to form a governement... and soon!!! Failure to do so will result in more violence, its because of a lack of government that there are these problems in Iraq. Runsfield: "I don't know when it will happen or when it will shake out....".... (my comment: Who Knew ?)

Next up: Saddam sentenced 148 people to death and needs to prove it was a fair trial.

Next: The presidents approval ratings are slipping... but he is not alone. (my comment: this should be worth a laugh).

(break...)

only 36% approve of * job performance, but congress has much worse numbers. 57% of people "approve" of the job their representative is doing ? :wtf:

Next: Battle over spending. ....

Oh this is too messed up... my main sadness is that so many in America get "their" news from this source. :-(
No wonder things are as they are.

Ok thats it for me... maybe in a few months I will find the fortitude to do this again....

1. They scare me. Always have. Not sure they are winning, though.
They are so flagrantly obvious, that I cannot see how they expand their ratings. In fact, I think they have peaked, and will now solidify their support by dropping any pretense that they are a news outlet.

2. Brit Hume - Bush's #1 Apologist
He'd be more authentic if he wore a cheerleading outfit with a big "W" on his chest and held pom poms.

3. I heard the same spin on local news
That, if * leaks classified info, it's no longer classified. Well, I think that there is a process for declassifying information, including written documentation and legal basis. This pseudo-dictator has no right at all to break the law by approving the leaking of classified information.

Number 1 story on CBS news. Libby says Bush and Cheney authorized him to leak classified information. He wasn't going to do it but Cheney said that * authorized it. Tone of the story is that * has no authority to personally declassify information. But, he has to right to wiretap without warrants and he's getting away with doing that.
