I am a delegate for MA (this primary season)

Just got a call from one of the Governor's canidates...

NOT staff.

The actual canidate.

I am going to call him back.

He wants to hear my concerns.

1. Which one?
Come on now, tell us which one!

You have an excellent field down there. Reilly, Patrick and Gabrielli are all good candidates and any one of them would make a better governor than Kerry Healy.

4. Gabrielli

I am an undeclared.

I do believe I am being courted.

I am going to demand 20 hours of Governor's time per year, a week at the Governor's mansion to vacation in Boston, and passes to all of the political bashes for my vote!

No. Actually, I was going to talk to him about my concerns for the MA universal health coverage proposal.

We need to change the SYSTEM and address costs.

I don't like Riley.

But, I do like Patrick.

5. Governor's Mansion?
You guys don't have one, do you?

Actually, New Hampshire has an "official residence" that no governor has ever actually used (Bridges House), except for a few official receptions and the like.

Calling Bridges House a "mansion" is a real stretch. More like a Governors Four Bedroom Fixer-Upper. It does have a very cool moose head mounted on the wall of the conference room, though!

7. Well, he's not talking
...so I really can't say for certain.

NH is one of the few states with a moose hunting season. It's very tightly controlled, with an annual lottery for the permits.

Of course, knowing hos state government operates, the one in Bridges House was probably road kill...
