I'm having a much deserved cocktail, and can kick back for a week or so.

In Florida's 5th District, we need 5,082 signatures (most in the state) to get on the ballot for Congress. Monday at noon is the deadline. We have 5,000 verified as valid as of yesterday. We're turning in 600 more tomorrow.

We made the ballot!

I myself collected over 1,000 during the last month. I spent 3 months standing in front of the DMV. We have a retired rocket scientist (really) who goes through our voter files and verifies each one before we turn them in to the various Supervisors of Elections, and that keeps our rejection rate down to about 2%, mostly people who were scrubbed or duplicates. Some candidates rejection rates are as high as 20%.

Tomorrow I can hit the gym again, and next week the golf course. Then the hard work begins. Getting John Russell elected to Congress, and giving Ginny Brown-Waite the

The DLC has already stuck a limp piece of toast in the race, who can do nothing but lose. His campaign manager even worked for Faux News in New York for the last 6 years! He even said in public that ALL media is leberally biased, INCLUDING FOX!

Everything east of Little Road. The rest of Pasco, All of Hernando up through Citrus, Marion, Levy. 7 counties in all. I've been spending all my time in Hernando. But, I'll be coordinating Pasco as well.
