Bush LIED, He knew he was the leaker
That's OUR frame. Stick to it. Leaker in Chief. He's been looking for himself for two years. No wonder he can't find bin laden, he can't even find himself (Island Blue).

Don't even mention THEIR weasel words and excuses. That's how we always lose.

He's sent the country on a wild goose chase for two years, when he knew he was the leaker all along.

1. He lied and he also broke the law. He should throw himself out on the
lawn before we have to do it.

2. Their argument is that since it was Bush who did it, it is Legal.
He just de-classified the information by leaking it, so it's okay. But I find that confusing, because if he were declassifying the information so it could be communicated, why didn't he just have a press conference and announce it?

3. Exactly, why didn't he just announce it
And stop even mentioning their argument because that's how it gains traction. He lied, he knew who the leaker was all along.

6. Yeah, I just now thought that out, so I haven't been repeating it
(much). It is useful to spread the question of why didn't Bush just have that press conference.

4. He looked for the leaker the same way he looked for the WMDs.
As a joke on the people of the United States. It's time we turn his jokes on him.

5. Split personality, maybe....
The personality who denied knowing about the leak 8 times is not the same personality who authorized the leak. That would explain his erratic behavior at debates and press conferences, too. I say we just confine him to a nice ritzy mental hospital for the remainder of his term.

Offer him one of those labor contract buy-outs that are so popular with all the outsourcers. :)

8. Are we talking about the NIE leak that Libby was talking
about in the court filing today (or was it yesterday), or is there another story I missed?

10. Let me quote him...
“Leaks of classified information are bad things. We’ve got too much leaking in Washington,“ Bush said during a stop in Chicago. "I want to know who the leakers are.”

12. Here's a transcript of Kerry talking to Wolfie on the subject.
BLITZER: Let's talk a little bit about the news of the day, which is this disclosure and the government, the prosecution put forward some documents suggesting that the vice president's former chief of staff, Lewis "Scooter" Libby, was authorized actually by the president to leak classified information from a national intelligence estimate on Iraq. What do you make of this development?

KERRY: Well, it's incredible! I mean, it means, first of all, if it's true, it means that there is no accountability in this administration, the buck doesn't stop anywhere. It means you have a president of the United States who stood up in front of Americans and said, gee, we have to find out who did this, we're gonna have an investigation, if I find the person, I'll fire him, and so he's been looking for himself for two years. It's stunning, and ...

Someone wrote that here earlier - I love it and I'm gonna say it loud and often! :patriot:
