BushCo is NOT in chaos over the Libby Revelation

Libby's testimony is NOT news to BushCo! They have had weeks to prepare for this day. They, most likely, have been able to follow every step, every detail and every secret of Fitz's investigation by illegally eavesdropping. They have undoubtedly constructed a plan to neutralize this story. The horrific aspect of today's revelation is contemplating BushCo's counter measure.

I think they have become so arrogant that they think it doesn't matter... at some point, that mindset is going to cost them, perhaps here.

They couldn't control that except by shutting down the courthouse with a faux terrorism alert.

4. They'll go for the usual plan - everything changed after 9/11

They will claim that everything changed after 9/11 and they acted in the best interest of the US. They will claim that there were some indications that Iraq had WMDs and they thought it was better to be safe than sorry. That's why we are fighting them over there and not here. Freedom comes at a price. History will be the judge. Can't comment on this during an on-going investigation. Because we are "at war" the president has expanded powers.

I think this pretty much runs the gamut of their usual excuses. They will try to invoke fear and not mention bin Laden. You know, like they've been doing all along.

7. The press got clamped down pretty darn quick

fortunately there's only so-much stuff that will fit under the proverbial carpet.

When Fitz brings new charges.. that will be the big news day.
There's no strong-arming their way outta justice.
