Rumsfeld, Bush’s McNamara
If there is not, there should be a truism that states, “When corporate men run wars young men bleed.” The truth in the statement resides in the history of Vietnam and Iraq, both managed by a corporate asshole as the Secretary of Defense.

The current debacle and needless casualty director in pursuit of doing a war on the cheap has killed and injured countless young men and women. Rumsfeld from the start was dedicated to a corporate philosophy of downsizing in order to achieve the least cost for the product. In doing so he dedicated an insufficient number of troops to controlling the aftermath of combat. He was so unconcerned about what happened after that he didn’t even have a plan for what happened after the collapse, neither did Bush or Cheney.

Every death, every injury since the fall of Saadam can be laid at the feet of this administration and their incompetence. It is criminal and it should be the base of a revolt by the people of this country.

To continue to support this group of criminals is beyond the pale. They should be standing in the dock for crimes against this country, if not for crimes against humanity.

1. But didn't McNamara do a mea culpa, in the end?
Rumsfeld will NEVER admit any mistake.

He'll stand in the middle of this pile of poop--and insist that it's a luxurious landscape full of pretty ponies!

Rumsfeld has no conscious. Like many of these warmongering scumbuckets--they are psychopaths.

I'll never forget Rumsfeld's "We bomb with such care" speech. He was indignant when a reporter suggested that the 10,000 bombs dropped during "Shock and Awe" killed many innocent civilians. He adamantly insisted that we lovingly placed those bombs only on buildings with compassionate precision and humane care.

Anyone who can convey that type of sick statement is evil beyond repair.

He may be McNamara in some respects. However, it's important to point out that Rumsfeld is less human and more of a psychopath than McNamara.

Rice would turn before Rumsfeld. Powell can't...he sold his soul and is no longer in possession of it.

2. COBRA II
says. that under 30 collateral kills was acceptable, any target that might result in over that amount had to be cleared by Rumsfeld.....It doesn't say how many he stopped....
