Kissinger Quotes - So Much For Our Government Supporting Our Troops...

"Peace must be secured by the creation of small wars around the planet on a continuing basis so as to maintain an international order of economic powers, and of course, keep the military industrialists happy."

"Military men are dumb, stupid animals to be used as pawns for foreign policy." -- http://americandefenseleague.com/milmen.htm

Didn't Bush praise & appoint Kissinger to a prominent post in 2001, shortly after a disaster? ;)

3. Kissinger's war crimes: East Timor
from declassified documents:

Kissinger: "On the Timor thing, that will leak in three months and it will come out that Kissinger overruled his pristine bureaucrats and violated the law. How many people know about this?

Staff member: "Three."

Kissinger: "Plus everyone in this meeting. Everything on paper will be used against me."

Since 1975 roughly 1/3 of the population of East Timor has been killed by the Indonesian army. This genocide is supported by the US, UK and other western nations. There's a lot of oil off the shore of East Timor.

7. Our unconditional support of the Indonesian army was directly responsible..

...for the deaths of 1/3 of Timor's native people.

5. IIRC, he tried to put Henry in charge of the 9/11 commission
that he supported after he stonewalled. But when someone pointed out that anyone running the commission would have to publish a list of their clients, Henry got cold feet. For some reason. IIRC

Kissinger stumbled upon a conflict of interests. Hmmmmmm -- anyone want to venture a guess as to who his clients were???
