The natural progression of the doctrine is: deaths of innocents are okay as long as in the far off misty-gray, nebulous future, good comes to the remainder. 999 deaths are alright as long as 1000 prosper.

So, therefore, the deaths are "always worth it" as * has oft said, and Ole Petey Pace can get on Meet The Press and without lying through his teeth state, unequivocally state things are getting better. Because according to their immoral calculus, when in 25 years Iraqi Oil is flowing and the people of Iraq are finally beaten into submission (25 years of death will finally tire out the people over there) everyone else on the planet will benefit.
