The chimp is now speaking. He says we have had 31 months of employment increasing.

Come to think of it, they have opened up two new McDonald's around here lately. So it simply has to be true.

1. Yep.
A lot of those 'new' jobs are seconds; people that can't get by on the one they got after losing their other job that paid well. And there's so many intangibles....healthcare, pensions.....

It's all bullshit.

Net jobs 2001-2006.................................2305
Equilibrium jobs (160k/mo)....................9920
Shortage....................................................-7615
Net jobs since 2003 Q4...........................4894
Equilibrium jobs (160k/mo).....................4640
Gain................................................................254


Anything below 160k new jobs/month is NOT growth
