Fire politicians who refuse to hold Bush accountable!!!
Editor, the Tribune: Let’s see - President George W. Bush openly says he authorized warrantless wiretapping and intends to keep on doing it. I guess it’s the same logic that keeps women from getting equal pay for equal work, but I don’t understand it.

It also escapes me why elected politicians won’t support a move to bring an impeachment action when Bush has admitted to breaking the law. It’s not complex: If he broke the law, there are consequences. To keep an admitted lawbreaker in office is unfathomable.

If no one will stand with Russ Feingold on something as tame as censure, thereby abdicating responsibility in the system of checks and balances, then perhaps we should fire each and every elected representative at the ballot box this November. They are, after all, our employees. If an employee of mine doesn’t abide by corporate policy, he or she is put on notice or fired.

To our congressional representatives: Public support for impeachment has reached 50 percent eight months before the next election, even if the major media aren’t covering it. Imagine what it will be like a few months from now. You have the chance just now to do what’s right, but it won’t last long. When you spin too much you get dizzy, lose your balance and fall down. You’re on notice.

6. Done with a fiery comment!
I'm pissed and on a roll today. Any "Democrat" who doesn't stand with these folks does not support the American people.

Censure then impeach after the election.

5. I agree wholeheartedly
I think if Americans care at all for their country, they should dictate the senators based on who has overwhelming support to bush, or who is willing to censure him. Atleast that way we'll have a senate willing to censure him.

It shouldn't be about values anymore, but protecting our rights as americans to have them. The republican view is not my view, and the neocon view is not even the republican view anymore. It's gotten so bad, I don't see why any self respecting republican would even vote for a senator showing this kind of support to bush.

This isn't about 'omg our prezdunt is so cool he can kick every librels fagooty ass!' anymore, to all lurking freepers. It's about your rights to have your opinions in the political world instead of leeching onto whatever is closest. I feel, soon that won't exist. Not without change.

Well, it wouldn't hurt to empty out the halls of power since that power is not used. Get some "shit kickers" in there, people like Dean unleashed, like Wellstone, like Conyers...we have a corps.

9. Make it a bipartisan effort...ANYBODY who supports * goes...2006
...and make some calls to your Democratic party and tell them that they need to be ultra diligent on election fraud. The criminal elite (a small minority) in the opposition will pull out all the stops to keep from facing their crimes.

It's a 24/7 battle as Understandinglife says.

We'll win!!!
