A foiled terra attack does more for * than a successful attack
There is talk of fucknutz* staging a terra attack to whip the sheep back into line. I don't think so, an attack on U.S. soil would anger people more than not.
What would do these bastards more good is if they were to loudly and publicly stop an attack, and I'm not so sure that would work either.

3. There was a news story this morning
about how the US is no more prepared for bio attack now than they were back during 9/11 the big one.

20. I'm convinced it's all fake
Otherwise, there would have been far more interest in protecting us instead of fighting a bogus war.

They haven't done jack shit to make us safer... one must ask why this is what with all the arm flailing and huffing and puffing about terra! terra! terra!

27. Bush hasn't concentrated on homeland security
he made an absolutely balls up of it. Appointing idiots to run it. Funding has been siphoned off to the futile Iraq war

2. Of course it would anger people
But the Cretin Bush and his band of henchmen don't reason like the rest of us. They are surely going to try every trick in the book!

Send Congress to vacation... have NORAD stand down... talk in benign terms about the economy... then set all hell loose!

4. I agree but I don't think they can or will. Making something like that
up would be too risky. People would question the timing if they released information about it. I think they might really be unable to recover from this. i won't go so far as to predict indictments or punishments over this latest revelation just yet though.

5. They're supposed to be the ones keeping us safe
that's why I'm thinking an attack would just amplify the incompetence.

last election, when he and Cheney were running around telling us that if we elected Kerry we would be attacked Again. It's BrazzoWorld!

And every time they get away with a stupid stunt, just like a bunch of kids, it empowers them.

24. Right there. They know they are above it all and like you said, it
empowers them. The little pissant knew he wouldn't be elected by the people in '00 and he for sure knew he wouldn't be "reelected" in '04. I am guessing he told Laura that they would be in the WH until Jan '09, in '00. He knew exactly what his "term of office" would be, from the get go.

21. 9/11 happened on Bush's watch
And that hasn't stopped him from lying his ass off, has it? And it hasn't stopped at least 30% of Americans from supporting him. He had a lot of support after 9/11, I'm sure he'd like to attempt a recoup of that.

6. An attack now after 6 years of shrubs homeland security would
start the demand from pukes that shrub co needs to go. Remember he is taping american phones so he can protect the sheep from the terrorists, if there was an attack in the USA it would just show how much shrubs actions to protect were just BS. That would work in our favor though, see shrubs done nothing since 9/11. Even the lame brains would put 2+2 togeter and come up with nothing.

7. I doubt the administration is that stupid....
any attack (especially now) would just totally destroy the "we're protecting you from terraists" argument, which is the ONLY thing it has (or had) going for it.

Yes, they are stupid. But I just don't see them taking away that ace-in-the-hole. They need the illusion of being strong and in control too much.

10. I'd look for a "Foiled Attack" story any day now, actually
Edited on Fri Apr-07-06 03:29 PM by VolcanoJen
Remember at the beginning of this year, in February, they got in big trouble with the polls and announced a foiled terror attack... from Two-Thousand and Freaking TWO.

Four (count 'em!) FOUR years ago!!

11. Let them try
there are enough people calling Washington Journal blaming them for 9/11. It is fugging over. Iraq is getting worse and he is sinking faster than NOLA homes following the post Katrina levy break.

16. They tried something like that in February, but it just got laughter.
Remember how they pointed to their super secret files, and tried to convince people they'd stopped some shoebomber from flying a plane into Library "Liberty" Tower in L.A.

It's was hilarious.
"Fly this plane into that tower, or I will blow my foot off!"

25. A "folied terror attack" that was planned on the internet is how they...
would play it...IF Rove were as smart as many people seem to think he is.
However, that porcine cocksucker isn't really that smart; he's just a little smarter than the yahoos he manipulates. That's all.

26. Yes. This is why I never bought into the MIHOP/LIHOP fantasies.
Had his own Administration had anything to do with 9/11, or any foreknowledge, * would been the hero of the story rather than the pet goat whose behavior had to be explained away.
