THE PRESIDENT.

That is the real issue that we must keep before the public. Bush is and was playing loose with sensitive, classified information to fit his administration's political agenda and to attack anyone who opposed their actions. That's it in a nutshell. Otherwise, the information would have been given directly to the people by the President as all the other bullshit he rants on about.

It is pure and simple abuse of Presidential powers and the office of the President for Bush to "cherry pick" and ok the leaking of classified information to make public servants and Congresspeople who oppose his policies look bad and to smear them as "unpatriotic" and "irresponsible."

To me, this is the essence of "high crimes and misdemeanors.

I want everyone to remember to not let this bullshit be spun into the abyss.

If, as the Bushbots are saying, the information the President authorized to be LEAKED was so important to the nation why didn't he just come out and give it to the nation? This information was not RELEASED, it was LEAKED.
