I wrote the "Taylor is a Plant" post without knowing the information.

If anyone has any mercy whatsoever, they'll kick this correction to Greatest.

I wrote that post last night before knowing of the Daily Kos article or any of the followup interviews. I was debunked pretty quickly, but now, after the edit period has expired, the post has suddenly appeared on Greatest, and I can't do a durn thing about it!

Knowing what I now know, I would not have posted it. I'm glad I'm only a copy editor and not a journalist -- I now know what Dan Rather must have felt like.

I wish that posts could be edited for as long as they can be recommended.... :cry: :cry: :cry:

Gotta love the guy, but Bush’s attitude and response was too smooth. I actually think he could have been a plant to make the very notion sound silly to believers. The crowd was not with this guy. The nation was, but the people in the room were not.

As I tried to explain on that thread, even though he wasn't a plant, there was still something that seemed "not quite right" about it- Shub's over confidence, as if he knew it was coming. Perhaps you felt it too but just reached the wrong conclusion.
