Should DUers donate to FreeRepublic in the name of freedom of speech?

Let's face it, FR is going bust. It was morally bankrupt from the start but they're having real financial difficulties now.

If we value our freedom shouldn't we defend our enemies' freedom just as vigorously as our own.

Could we donate say $10 bucks instead of donating to people affected by Huricane Katrina or famine relief for sub-Saharan Africa or any other 'liberal' humanitarian causes ?

I feel absolutely no sympathy for them. Sure, they have a right to free speech just like everyone else (at least for now). But if Kristen and his fellow freepers are unable to keep their site running, there are plenty of other conservative venues out there for them to find a home.

So, no, I wouldn't give one red cent to FR, under any circumstances.
