Michael Brown, former director of administration for FEMA, had an informal discussion with St. Bernard officials about possibly being hired as a consultant, Parish President Junior Rodriguez said Friday.
Rodriguez said Brown might be in St. Bernard next week to meet with him and the parish council.
Rodriguez said there was nothing definite, and that he was asked to meet with Brown while he and three council members were in Washington talking with members of congress about hurricane recovery.
“We’re having trouble with some FEMA issues,’’ Rodriguez said. “I think we should hear from him on why and how he could be an asset to a group we’re putting together.’’

I do believe I've seen it all now...
