Co-workers: DHS official had previous pornography incident

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A Department of Homeland Security spokesman charged with soliciting a minor over the Internet was disciplined in a previous job after an incident in which pornographic images were seen on an office computer, his friends and former co-workers said.

Brian Doyle resigned from his Homeland Security Department post Friday, his 56th birthday.

Doyle remains in a Maryland detention center where he awaits extradition to Polk County, Florida. There he is charged with seven counts of solicitation of a minor and 16 counts of transmitting pornographic material to a minor. An extradition hearing is scheduled for May 4. Friends and former co-workers say Doyle was disciplined by Time magazine after he allegedly used company computers to view adult pornography in the publication's Washington bureau office.

Did anyone ever find out if this guy is a Democrat or a Republican? There was a thread about it when the story broke, but I can't find it. My guess is that he's a Republican since the story is getting no play in the MSM.

always financial problems. we fired him. husband went thru his computer, picture after picture of womens crotches....... hundreds or more. i would think about walking past his office, his face in his computer and think there he was looking at these naked women, jacking off behind desk, and he would look at me,.... and just huge yuk....

we also found the most absurd contracts to his kids and wife in his authoritive, not respecting my manliness taking away my father husband role in being boss by not following my instruction. talking to elders at church and we concur that you...... yada yada yada. one sick man
