1. Hey, you forgot voter fraud. You can't get the other stuff fixed
unless your votes can get your candidate into office.

11. electronic voting fraud trumps everything by far. The fact that this poll
can be put up without even putting the electronic voting machine into the mix is an indication of why the next election will in all likelihood be just like the previous one.

I can only echo valerief: unless you fix the vote counting, what difference does it make what madman is currently in the WH? There's always another one waiting in the wings. If Bush ran again right now, forget the 35% approval rating, he'd win by between 5% and 10% and everybody would blame the amazing turnout of the religious fundamentalists. It's amazing how numerous these folks have become now the voting machines determine our leaders. Forget the demographics. Forget everything that makes any sense, but for God's sake don't look at the voting machines.

It's the biggest political con game and scam in American history, maybe in world history and it's going on right under our collective noses.

2. Madman, hands down. All the other things might be fixed
if he wasn't in this equation.

7. our economy being sold piece by piece to the lowest bidder?
You bet that's our main problem. When everyone works at Walmart or McDonalds in this country, there won't be much of a country left, will there? Stop reverse-mercantilism NOW.

9. Religious Zealots who have no concept of constitutional liberty
who want to replace our constitution with the bible is my number one problem. The others are very troubling indeed and while we attempt to deal with them, the zealots in our country are working to undermine the basis of our freedoms. And we can give them an incredible amount of credit for putting the likes of bush and his criminal team in office. If they don't want all Americans to have constitutional liberties, which they dont, then THEY can leave and form a theocracy elsewhere.

12. Corporate take over of the government is the most important issue.
THAT is the root of the other problems. We no longer have a government OF, FOR, AND BY THE PEOPLE! All is done for the benefit of huge corporations and at the cost to the people.

14. An easily manipulated electorate
which leads to some of the other problems and is caused largely by the corporate nature of the "free press".

17. Just about all of the above plus a failure to encourage critical thinking.
Even an itsy bitsy bit of critical thinking would go a long way.
