Why wopuld Scooter be arrested, if there was no "leak" because
the information was declassified? Why a Grand Jury, why an ivestigation? Simple solution, * tells everyone that it is declassified and hence no investigation, no arrest of Scooter???? Makes no sense.

3. The point is that there shouldn't have been an investigation in the
first place if * would have just said that the infor on Plame had been declassified? Why didn't they just do that instead of "stonewalling" to the point of having to have and investigation initiated and Scooter arrested?

7. More the reason to question though, why aren't more questions
being asked instead of just "was it legal for him to do this or not?"

This way the Repubs are controlling this and the lack of deep thought is being curtailed yet again.

Why aren't we hearing questions like: Why would* let Libby go on the hot seat for declassified info?, Why would * let Fitz, question, then arrest a trusted close employee for no reason?, Why should there be an investigation costing taxpayers millions of dollars, when * knew about how the info was outed, Why now, after all of this time does the admin admit that info was declassified?....The questions just go on and on, why aren't they being asked?

12. I misphrased the question, I should have asked about the Dem guests
and Dem "experts" and why they aren't asking the questions. I agree that the actual "media" is really dumb, deaf and blind when it comes to the hardcore truthful parts of thier jobs.

13. It's true the reporters
aren't asking the right questions. Why all the obfuscation for the past 3 years? Doesn't make sense unless there is more to this that we know at this point.

2. What makes no sense
is why he lied. If this was no big deal, why lie? Libby is a smart guy. He's a lawyer. He knows how serious it is to lie to a grand jury.

If this info was declassified, why not just say so up front?

6. * didn't declassify until 10 days
after the leak. So when he leaked, he broke the law and the declassified in order to cover up. Stupid them, they didn't back date the document.

9. It probably wasn't declassified til yesterday and it WAS back-dated
by 3 years. We have no earthly idea if and when it was EVER declassified.

Not bloody likely! They are outta tricks on this one and sent up a declassification Hail Mary pass, hoping someone on their team can run it in!

Sorta seems like Rove is in a lotta trouble and getting desperate, doesn't it?

10. Why ask Miller to attribute it to "a former Hill staffer" if
the material was no longer classified? If it was declassified, why not ask Miller attribute the NIE material to VP Chief of Staff directly, and release it officially?

attacking Wilson. (It's ok to laugh at that. I did.)

11. desperate defense - don't forget the M.O. of the busheviks: first do
whatever in the heck you want to promote your agenda, your homeys and your money sources; 2nd: lie; and 3rd: when #2 (aptly named) does not work well enough, reinvent reality with new rationalizations (see also the Iraq Invasion).

These shameless thugs were so intoxicated on their own hubris that they never thought their #1 MO on the treasonous march to war would fail them (who'da thunk Wilson would actually say that the elephant - in this case - wears no clothes?) ... NOW they get it that's it's HUGH1111111111111

See?? You just didn't have all the pages to the Bushevik Memo!
