Poll question: Shall the issue of Slavery be determined by the Fed Gov. or by the States?
Shall the issue of Slavery be determined by the Federal Government, or by the individual States?

In as much as undocumented non-citizens are prized by employers for their exploitability, due to said undocumented non-citizens second class status.

To the extent that any official documenting of an exploitable non-citizen second class status resembles slavery.

To the extent that individual states could move to impose fines on those who employ either undocumented non-citizens, or documented non-citizens with an exploitable second class status resembling slavery.

Shall the issue of slavery (slavery as defined by such said exploitable second class status) be determined by the Federal Government, or by the individual states?

1. Noncitizens always be "2nd class" in a country provides for its citizens

Thats one thing that countries do. If there is no difference between citizens and non-citizens then you dont really have a country.

now basic human rights and rule of law apply to everyone in the country but there will always be benefits to citizenship.

2. I believe this government cannot endure permanently half slave, half free.
I believe this government cannot endure permanently half guest worker, half citizen.

3. I might have to reword this into a more serious poll question.
I am serious about the concept of the individual states issuing fines to employers who violate the law.
