her her job. This is 1000 times more damning than what the Clenis "allegedly" did to Paula Jones.

1. Yes but .. 1. it takes years before the president can be forced to testify |
|
2. Its bad for the country to tie up the Presidency with a civil suit - just because the Republicans did it doesn't make it right.

6. thats the way it happen - you don't like one president so you set a preced |
|
precedent that ties up all future Presidents - I would rather leave the Paula Jones/Clinton as a failed aberration rather than a trend.
The Republicans also had a special prosecutor with powers likely to never be repeated.

7. Are you serious...they have every right to have a law suit ,after all |
|
the president is not above the law...and having him tied up would not be a bad thing..he couldn't cause so much havoc..

8. Yes I'm serious and of course they have a right to file whatever lawsuit |
|
that they desire.
I was thinking of the future of the Republic and what is good for the country - I saw what happened with the Paula Jones suit and considered that to be harmful.

9. If his carefully selected judges decide that his actions were |
|
"for national security" and NOT personal, they would throw it out.. You can bet that he would make sure this went to SCOTUS so it could never be brought up again in a lower court.
