My top three (actually four because I have a tie for #2) are:

Ann Coulter--because I don't think she should be given any additional platforms for her brand of hatred.

Seth Green and Chris Rock have a tie--I had hopes that they would be better than they were...

Joe Scarborough-he was SO fuckin' rude to the President of Ireland. But for the most part, his rude, arrogant, blowhard ways and manner--talking over people, shouting, acting like a complete neanderthal. :eyes:

she never brings anything except her tired schtick of dripping sarcasm. Might as well book David Spade. Coulter isn't knowledgeable. She doesn't talk facts or specifics. It's just the politics of personal destruction. When she can't follow the topic, which is often, she repeats a non sequitor which is nonsensical but does tend to disrupt the discussion. "Ted Kennedy! Chappaquiddick!" When the discussion is about health care reform.
No wit. No class. No depth.
She's just road rage added for the WWF effect. The producers are hoping someone will get so enraged by her that physical violence will erupt.

Ann Coulter -- because she IS a Fascist Party Doll, just as Richard Belzer (bless his heart) said.

Tony Snow -- because he couldn't quite grasp that Real Time was NOT his show and took over the conversation, even interrupting Bill Maher. He ran roughshod over that night. (On edit: I know he's been on more than once; I'm referring to the night he was on the panel with Billy Connolly.)

Phyllis Schafley -- because she is a deeply disturbed painted doll who's scary beyond belief. She had this to say about reining in "activist" judges, right up to implementing legislative control over the Supreme Court:

SCHLAFLY: All right, the problem is, we do not want the judges doing things like abolishing the Pledge of Allegiance, changing the definition of marriage, throwing the Boy Scouts out of the public schools. And what we think is that congress should pass a law, taking away from the federal courts, jurisdiction over those areas where we don't trust them. And those are three good areas where we simply do not trust them.

19. I've never been embarassed by DL Hughley--

but was embarassed by Seth Green and Chris Rock.

DL Hughley is passionate and knows enough about the issues to make interesting comments in response to the discussion. The audience always applauds loudly and often when DL is on. I enjoy his visits as well.

But of course, you don't have to like him just because a couple of us do. ;)

Ann Coulter is an idiot and stands out as a cardboard cutout, frothing conservative. Hitchens was once a reasonable liberal, but no more, and he tries to play both sides against each other. Coulter just aims all her hate at the liberals and that makes her a predictable cipher. I find Hitchens far more odious.

It wasn't enough to be able to say he golfs with a famous actor/celebrity, he had to make it serve him by expecting Costner to do campaign ads for him. He ventured out once, years ago, on late night TV. Letterman's show. And the poor man had a total meltdown when the audience booed. He couldn't speak clearly, was sweaty and scared. Letterman took pity on him and shuffled him off to the wings.
