If this is Homeland Security, I think we ought to be a little afraid,"
says a teachers assistant who wasmanhandled and held by Gestapo Homeland Security agents

1. Makes one wonder how many of these incidences never see...
the light of day.

2. 'This will never happen to me,'
"You now (sic) you hear these stories everyday and say, 'This will never happen to me,' but yesterday it happened to me," Pickett said.

People need to hear this from people like Pickett who believed that until they were themselves accosted.

Thanks for posting this. It's important that we note these injustices whenever they happen and they are already happening far too often.

3. "The part that really upsets me is all these students were watching"
"...and that's not good."

No, dude. That's REAL good. That's the best kind of good I can think of out of this evil. They'll never forget it. And they will NOT grow up to trust the government. And that's damn good in my book.

5. Why were they in a school loading zone?
To look at a map? Right.

(snip)

The department said the only reason the officers were at the school was because they pulled over to look at a map.
