I think it speaks more for seniors across the board being more active in politics than younger people.

19. from having been involved in Young Democrats in college, I agree

It very easily could have been a candidate forum during the republican primary for a local race. We had a few of those and the crowds were very similar. Party organizations in most states, I'd wager all can't get involved in active campaigning for a candidate until it is only one of your party's candidates left in the race.
