CRAP!! Dennis Kucinich says Impeachment talk is a waste of time.
It is unless and until we take back the house and senate. Folks, Gore won in 2000. Kerry won in 2004. We will most certainly "win" in 2006 but will we win or will we watch it get stolen again?

2. "Impeachment talk" is NOT a waste of time!
The fuckin' mid-terms are 6 months from now and building the idea, which may become a big damned deal, needs to be done NOW.

4. You beat me to the punch
But I'm gonna say it anyway. Impeachment talk is NOT a waste of time.

Impeachment won't happen until we take back the house and senate, but promoting the idea of impeachment, keeping the crimes of the neocon cabal in the news may well help us reclaim control of congress.

7. You can witness voters being turned away but you can't see
the votes being vaporized.

We need to get rid of computerized voting.

8. exactly. I'm all for impeachment but it can't happen unless we
take the voting out of the corporations hands. Unless the corporations decide it would be best now to have a corporate Democrat as the new leader, which too is entirely possible.

22. And looking more likely every day. I'm studying a situation
in El Salvador early in the 20th Century. They, too, had fake elections with predetermined outcomes.

After we get rid of the machines, let's take personhood away from the corporations.

13. I'm a precinct judge. I have questioned our officials on security and
chain of custody issues. Our problem here is the Republican state government. They only gave us four choices, none of them very good. One of the companies went belly up, so we only had three choices.

doesn't take into account that proprietary code can contaminate the vote before a single one is cast.

Our CA Sec of State is trying to ram Diebold down our throats and has implemented a voter reg database that is excluding qualified voters. Now that I know a little bit of what to look for, the set up is as plain as day. The Thuggery wants CA and they want it badly.

21. I also brought up examining the source code.
I said how do we know that there isn't insecure code or malicious code in there. I said it might sound paranoid, but I'd rather err on the side of caution when it comes to our elections.

23. Good for you, alfredo!
If we don't have transparency, we don't really have a reliable result. Asking for it isn't paranoid, it's just reasonable.

26. That's it. Why should we trust them?
We don't even know them. We don't know if the person (s) is competent or honest. Why should I trust my vote to them?

5. You watch, after the mid term, impeachment will be job 1.
I firmly believe this. The Democrats don't want to start a right wing talking point out of it that says "If you vote for Democrats they'll impeach our beloved (incompetent) leader."

24. This is the reason. Kerry said exactly the same thing this morning on
MTP. "Impeachment is a waste of time." No way he really believes that...he's just fending off the fear that Rethuglicans are trying to evoke in those stupid enough to still believe in anything this administration has to say.

19. Have you spoken to him about this recently? Things have
changed since 2004 - it seems to me that it is imperative, considering recent disclosures, for conscientious members of Congress to bring the completely justified case for impeachment before the people.

We cannot condone a sitting commander-in-chief maliciously disclosing state secrets in a childish, petty act of revenge.

Congress is full of corrupt GOPs and dead above the neck DLC Democrats. Unless we can get rid of most of them, any talk about impeachment is a pipe dream.

Hopefully swift enough to take at least a year off his term.

30. Maybe if we stop whining about so-called stolen elections and
start strategizing we can actually win an election and then impeach. :wow:

I know, strategizing is a unfamiliar concept, but it does win elections...

31. Hey, I'm all for that. I wouldn't exactly call what I'm saying whining -
just the opposite - people cannot get complacent and assume we will win after at least 2 stolen elections. Doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result is the definition of insanity. I say MASS boycott of the machines - ALL ballots on paper absentee. Not only is your ballot on paper, it sends a STRONG message that we will not touch these machines!
