How can bush handle a nuclear disaster when...
he can't handle a natural disaster? I do not know what is wrong with some of the people in this country, I was listening to c-span this morning and a lot of the callers seem to think if bush starts a war with Iran they will get scared and learn there lesson of no to mess with the usa. What are they drinking, these people want to be led by the most incompetent, draft dodginginess ( if that is a word) non pres and his buddies there ever were. With all of the mistakes and misteps that have come out this week, the only thing I can say is something is wrong with these people. Are they afraid they couldn't be, they say they are christians if they believe in the lord then they are suppose to believe that God protects them ( the hypocrites)!

2. People have forgotten about "duck and cover."
Maybe it's time to start scaring the shit out of people again. I can't believe anyone in their right mind would think nukes are an option for ANYTHING except to deter people from using nukes.

9. I can't believe anybody thinks war is a solution to anything
and nukes that is just crazy. If we have created a bunker buster nuke isn't that a violation of our nuke treaty? Or is that just another agreement that Bush swore to uphold at his inauguration that he has trashed?

3. K&R The FReepers are really delusional about the blowback to them and
their families. Does anyone have the facts on the radiation over britain and europe in the Shock and Awe-ful campaign. At least the radiation dangers should be explained to them (and us    ).

4. These people believe that no one will attack the USA....
they are bat shit crazy. If the * cabal attacks Iran....every country and it's fanatics that hate the USA will find a way to attack us not just in Hawaii but the continental America.....

It is mind boggling that these people can't think their way out of a pop bottle.....for every action their is a violent reaction.....our military personel know this...those of us with commen sense know this...
but our supposed leaders are intentionally putting our country in dangerous territory......

5. and they don't have to be high tech attacks either
I'm afraid that people out for vengeance against the US for bombing Iran will use fires, poisons, pipe bombs, etc... to create terror in the US. This country will be in a world of hurt if we bomb Iran-- especially if we nuke Iran.

Iran said set to respond to U.S. strike with global terror
By Reuters

Iran would respond to U.S. military strikes against its nuclear sites with global attacks by intelligence operatives and Hezbollah teams, The Washington Post reported in an article on its Web site on Saturday, citing unnamed "intelligence and terrorism experts."

Iran would attack U.S. targets in Iraq and there is "growing consensus that Iran's agents would target civilians in the United States, Europe and elsewhere," The Post said.

"U.S. officials would not discuss what evidence they have indicating Iran would undertake terrorist action," it said. But the article quoted one "senior official" as saying that the matter is "a huge issue" and another saying it "is consuming a lot of time" in the U.S. intelligence apparatus.

Intelligence officials declined to say whether they have detected "preparatory measures" by Iran's foreign-based operatives, such as more surveillance, counter-surveillance or message traffic, The Post said.
