Democrats are afraid to tell the truth because.....
...they are afraid it will make them look shrill and negative. The Republicans are afraid to tell the truth because it will make them look insane. So, the truth is ignored. It makes no difference if the president lied, committed crimes, and has totally compromised our country around the world. Mostly they make excuses for the lying tyrant that sits in the Oval Office.

6. I have to admit...
there is something darkly satisfying about watching Bush, totally left to his own devices without opposition, screw things up so terribly! :)

5. Why would Dems oppose Pugs? I am sure many of the Dems
are eager to get on the money train. But where is the money coming from? We are BROKE ! I am appalled at how many think conditions will change if the Dems take power. In my dreams!

10. I find this
{insert flavor of the week here} baloney, laughable. No, Feingold or is not the only dem worth a damn. There's plenty of them. You may not agree with them all of the time, but they're definitely politicians of worth. There's my Senator, Leahy, who over his 30+ years in the Senate has proven his worth time after time after time. There's Kennedy who's done the same. Kerry, Harkin, Boxer, Mikulski, Jeffords, who had he done nothing else but switch parties at a critical time, proved his worth. In the House, there are dozens and dozens of terrific reps. Maybe you're just ignorant, but stating that Feingold is the only dem in Congress worth a damn is just wrong.

a political vacuum created by the republicans. Time to roll out several "Plan B" initiatives and give an FDR New Deal to the American public.

because it will cast them in an unflattering light. By shining a light on Bush, they run the risk of shining a light on themselves. It's better perhaps, to let Bush stumble around in the dark, knocking things around, smashing and breaking everything in his path, while they themselves, sit silently, ever so slightly visible, at the edge of the shadows.

11. Funny how Newt and Delay had no problems being shrill and negative
but yet the first class scaredy cats in the democratic party can't seem to find the will to be forceful, blunt and provide an alternative...
